Ibas has security routines, which cater for all kinds of cases. Cases of fire, flooding or other types of disaster situations have their own routines. Ibas is one of only a few laboratories in Europe, which have the skills and expertise to take on such tasks.

- As a general rule it is nearly always possible to recover data, which are recorded on a storage medium. Using many years of experience and proprietary tools Ibas can solve most cases. All cases are however unique and the outcome can only be ascertained after an extensive analysis. This is tedious and demanding work, which often takes time, says Arve Saghaug, President and CEO of Ibas AS.

Ibas handles several thousand recovery cases annually. Most cases come from ordinary office environments in small and large businesses, which for some reason or other no longer have access to their data. Typical cases are recovery of bookkeeping data, customer bases, insurance data and graphical material from newspapers and printing presses.
