Ibas brings data erasure services closer to the customer
Since 1992 Ibas has offered customers secure erasure of data. Because of the specialized equipment and security procedures involved this is done in Ibas' laboratories in Kongsvinger. Since the start Ibas has sought to eliminate the security risks associated with shipping the storage units to Kongsvinger, and now we present the solution:
The data erasure is performed on-site by authorized
partners
Ibas has put a lot of effort into continued development of the technology
and security procedures for secure data erasure. As a result Ibas can now
offer selected partners access to the technology. A continued high level of
security is assured by requiring personnel that will perform data erasures,
to go through an extensive training program. The training program will
familiarize the personnel with laws and regulations, security risks
associated with data storage units, and Ibas' data erasure technology.
Successful completion of the program leads to an Ibas authorization to
perform data erasure.
