Customize PowerControls
PowerControls users can further enhance the product's capabilities with unique add-on components called "Agents". ExtractWizard Agents are custom-designed for your specific tape restoration needs, extracting and restoring previous online backups to alternate locations other than Exchange Server, eliminating the need for a Recovery Server.

Other PowerControls Agents are available to search, copy or export PST mail, or to perform more complex search and analysis operations. PowerControls is easily customized to meet your specific email recovery, restoration, and research needs.

New Features The Message Views tool allows administrators to organize archived email messages using one of three custom views. Conversation View produces a histogram of all replies and forwards to a given message. Message Table View allows the user to see all folders that reference a single message; and Attachment Table View shows all messages that reference a single attachment. PowerControls 4.1 also introduces a new add-on Agent for Content Analysis, which allows the Administrator to create customized, personal data stores to perform search and analysis operations on multiple data sources at one time. System Requirements To connect and use PowerControls software, you need the following hardware and software: Windows 2000 Server, Windows® 2000 Professional, Windows XP Home or Professional, or Windows 2003 Server Microsoft® Outlook® 2000 or later Note: PowerControls is designed to run on a Windows workstation and uses native Microsoft Messaging APIs (MAPI) to communicate to the Exchange Server, ensuring reliable and consistent operation of your server. Outlook must be installed and configured on the workstation to connect to an Exchange server for MAPI to initialize properly. PowerControls is not designed to run from an Exchange Server.
