EasyRecovery software editions are licensed based on the number of drives to be recovered. The number of drives that can be recovered by each edition is noted as Licence Option above. The licence allows for the recovery of multiple files from a single drive. A single drive is defined as one rigid disk drive or a single removable media media (USB drive, digital memory media, floppy disk, etc.) . The Individual licence is intended for private or home use on one computer. In all other cases, the software may be installed on any number of computers as long as the total number of drives recovered does not exceed the total number licensed. If the software is to be used for commercial or financial gain including, but not limited to, performing technical or consulting services, a Commercial Licence must be purchased. Commercial licences are available and based on an unlimited number of recoveries for a specified period of time. Individual, Standard, Business, and Enterprise editions are not licensed for commercial use. See additional details below.

ExtractWizard Agents require a licence key. The Microsoft NT Backup Agent is included with the programme at no extra cost, and is enabled by default. The other five agents require a separately purchased licence key at £325 per agent/per server.

PowerControls software editions are licensed based on the number of Exchange servers and mailboxes in your environment. The Standard Edition is licensed for use on a single server with up to 100 mailboxes and the Business Edition is licensed for use on a single server with up to 250 mailboxes. PowerControls Standard and Business editions will not open an .edb file that has more than the designated number of mailboxes. PowerControls Enterprise Edition is licensed for use on any customised number of servers and mailboxes. The Enterprise Edition will not open an .edb containing an unlicensed server name. PowerControls Commercial Edition is licensed based on an unlimited number of servers and mailboxes for a specified period of time. PowerControls software may be installed on any number of computers as long as the total number of servers and mailboxes managed does not exceed the total number licensed. Standard, Business, and Enterprise editions may not be used for commercial or financial gain including, but not limited to, using it for technical or consulting services.
